What I do
What does an SEO consultant do?
An SEO consultant answers one question: what to fix first. I set the strategy, rank the work by business impact, write technical briefs your developers can ship and a content plan your writers can follow. Then I check what got deployed and how search responded.
Companies typically bring me in for four situations:
01
You're planning a redesign or migration.
Redesigns without SEO oversight routinely lose organic traffic, and some of it never comes back. I review the plan before anything goes live.
02
Growth has stalled and nobody knows why.
The site grew after launch, then flatlined. You need an outside look at where it actually loses visibility.
03
You want a second opinion on your agency.
You pay a retainer and you're not sure what it buys. An independent review tells you what's working and what's theater.
04
You're launching a new product or market.
An hour of consulting saves months of writing content blind. I map the competition, the keywords and a realistic timeline.
When to hire
When should you hire an SEO consultant?
Hire a consultant when you have people to implement it but nobody senior to set direction.
Decides what to do and why
SEO consultant
Strategy and priorities. The right fit when you have developers or a marketing team for execution but no one owns direction.
Does what's been decided
SEO specialist
Keyword research, meta tags, fixing 404s, CMS work. Good for recurring execution.
A package of people
SEO agency
Specialists, a project manager, reporting. For companies that want to outsource SEO completely.
I work as a solo senior consultant: the person you talk to is the person doing the work. I also take on ongoing retainers when a long-term setup makes sense for both sides.
Experience
Why work with me
I run content and technical SEO for Flashscore's betting section across 20+ markets: UK, Brazil, Italy, France, Poland and more, driving the fastest-growing revenue share in the section's history.
Three years as SEO manager for CZ/SK/HU in regulated fintech, YMYL territory where SEO and compliance are inseparable. I wrote and edited most of XTB's education hub myself.
Builder, not just advisor
I build in Next.js myself (this site included), use AI tooling daily and once wrote a Python + BERT tool to map redirects for a migration. My technical briefs respect how modern stacks actually work.
On the freelance side: StudioPosh, a local business nobody could find online, now gets 300+ organic visits a month and ranks for 450+ keywords with zero PPC spend.
Stalled growth
Traffic flat and nobody knows why?
I'll go through the data and find what's holding it down. It's usually not what the standard reports say.
Deliverables
What you walk away with
Every engagement ends with assignments you can hand straight to a developer or writer.
01
A fix list ranked by impact
Sorted by impact versus effort. You know what to do first.
02
A technical brief for developers
Ready to paste into a ticket. No vague “fix the SEO”.
03
A content plan
What to write, in what order and why, grounded in Search Console and keyword data.
04
A follow-up check
A few weeks after deployment I verify what shipped and how search engines responded.
Decisions come from Search Console and GA4 data, not from whatever is trending on LinkedIn.
Process
How do I work?
I review your site before we ever get on a paid call. Three phases, one question: what to fix first.
01
Review before the call
The 15-minute intro call is free. Before any paid session I go through your Search Console, analytics and technical setup, so we start with findings, not introductions.
02
Prioritized plan
I pick the handful of areas with the biggest business impact and turn them into briefs for your team or supplier.
03
Execution or advisory
Either I work hands-on with you, or I stay on as advisor while your team ships. I check the changes and report on how search responds.
I work remotely from CET, async-first and in writing. We meet over Google Meet when a decision needs a conversation.
Pricing
How much does SEO consulting cost?
Consulting runs from €100 per hour. My rates are public, so you don't have to ask and I don't have to defend them.
Hourly consulting
from €100
/ hour
One-off consultations and ad-hoc questions. No mandatory package. I review your site before the call.
Ongoing retainer
from €100
/ hour · 10+ hrs/month
Strategy, execution and reporting on a monthly basis. Scope and budget agreed up front.
Enterprise advisory
€150+
/ hour
For in-house SEO teams that need a senior outside view. Workshops and knowledge transfer.
One-off SEO audits start at €900 and scale with site size and depth. The intro call is free.
For in-house teams
Advisory for in-house SEO teams
If you already have an SEO specialist or content manager, advisory replaces the missing senior in the room. Your team keeps doing the work; I bring the experience of running SEO across 20+ markets and tell them what to prioritize and what to skip.
Two formats work. A one-off strategy workshop fits big decisions: a redesign, a new market, a CMS change. Ongoing advisory means your team brings questions and decisions once or twice a month. Before either, I ask for Search Console and GA4 access so I arrive with data, not generalities.
Why not an agency?
Agency
comes with an account manager, juniors and a senior you rarely see. The output lives in their tooling.
Advisory
means the senior is present from preparation to final document. Nothing gets lost in handoffs.
The result
belongs to you. The roadmap and the knowledge stay with your team after we're done.
Fair warning
Who consulting is not for
If you expect a one-off miracle and don't plan to keep working on the site and its content, consulting won't help you. It makes sense where someone can implement the recommendations: your team, a developer or a supplier.
If nobody will ship the technical fixes or write the content, the output ends up as an unused document. That's a waste of your money and my time.

7 questions
How much does an SEO consultant cost?+
My consulting rate is from €100 per hour, the same for one-off sessions and retainers (10+ hours a month). Enterprise advisory for in-house teams starts at €150 per hour, and one-off SEO audits start at €900 and scale with site size. The 15-minute intro call is free.
What is the difference between an SEO consultant and an agency?+
With a solo consultant there are no layers: whoever takes your call also does the analysis and writes the briefs. At an agency, work passes through several hands and senior time is scarce, while deliverables often stay locked in their processes. Everything I produce belongs to you, and your team can keep building on it once the engagement ends.
How does a remote engagement work?+
I'm based in the Czech Republic (CET) and work with international clients fully remotely. Most communication is async and in writing; we meet over Google Meet when a decision needs a conversation. I'll ask for access to Google Search Console and GA4 so recommendations are grounded in your data.
How long until I see results?+
Technical and on-page fixes typically show within 4–8 weeks. Building authority and organic traffic takes longer; real results appear after 3–6 months of systematic work. I tell you the realistic timeline for your site on the intro call, not a generic promise.
What should I prepare for the first call?+
Nothing formal. Bring your goals and what's blocking you; I'll have looked at your site before we talk. For a paid session, access to Google Search Console and GA4 ahead of time means we start with findings instead of introductions.
Do you implement, or just advise?+
Both. I can stay on as an advisor and write briefs your developers and writers execute, or work hands-on myself. I build in Next.js (this site included), so technical recommendations come from someone who ships code, not just slide decks.
What languages do you work in?+
English for international clients, plus Czech and Slovak natively. At Flashscore I run SEO across 20+ markets, so multi-language and multi-country sites are familiar territory.
Start working together
15 minutes. Enough for a first plan for your organic growth.
I'll look at your site and goals, then recommend the steps with the biggest impact for your stage of business. The first call is free, no commitment.
